Saturday was absolutely amazing!! Thanks to donations from family members, friends, businesses, community organizations and partnerships, such as Wise Minds, OES Electa #1, Lifestyle 31, Elegant Ladies, Unmuted Voices/J-Poetry, Thimbles & Threads, The Bella Project, Feeling How I Look, Heart for Humanity, We Care In-Home Childcare and Roar Ministries, Legacy 615, INC. was able to successfully surpass its goal and fill 188 backpacks with essential school supplies for Kindergarten to 12th grade students residing in the Toney Sudekum Apartments. Additionally, the wonderful brothers of Kirjathjearim #104 Masonic Lodge of Nashville, were also present and sponsored food for the participants. With the left over surplus, Legacy will donate items to kindergarten and first grade classrooms at Bunea vista Elementary as well as support students in need at McKissack and John Early Middle Schools.
To OB, Katrina, Frankie, Jamie, Sherra, Yalonda, Dexter, Ms.Vanderbilt, Correl, Tica, Ty, Rory and Robyn, thank you for your individual donations. We could not have done this without your support.
